How do I apply to Schenker?
We are always happy to receive applications sent by e-mail. However, you may also post your application to us. Both methods of application are equally acceptable as long as they contain all the necessary information.
Does Schenker accept speculative applications?
Our Career Market shows current vacancies in the Company which is updated on a daily basis. You may also apply speculatively for permanent positions if you wish. Simply tell us which area you would like to work in, based on your qualifications and career profile, and we will examine your individual employment opportunities.
What should be included in my application?
In addition to your covering letter, resumé and recent photograph, please include all relevant references (records of employment, internships, further career development) since leaving school. Please state in your application which position you are applying for and your reasons for wanting to join Schenker.
What happens after my written application has been sent?
If you applied in response to an advertised position, you should normally receive an invitation for interview two to six weeks after submitting your application. You will in any event receive written acknowledgement of receipt of your application. Sometimes shortlists take a little longer to draw up. Should this be the case, just give us a call so that we can tell you how your application is progressing.
